Our talented people empower us, and we believe in being part of a team that is open, collaborative, entrepreneurial, passionate, and above all fun.About the teamTeam as their frontend specialist, working on the latest iterations of our current flagship financial services platform. You will be a part of our detailed development process, helping to refine and develop stories through cross-team collaboration, working to a high engineering standard and writing robust unit and e2e tests.What you will be doing :
  • Work in an Agile environment as the frontend specialist for a fullstack team
  • Write performant and maintainable code using TypeScript, Angular (currently 18 but kept 1-2 major versions behind latest) and RxJS within an Nx monorepo
  • Contribute to writing and maintaining a robust suite of unit and e2e tests
  • Work in sprints, with tickets split between new development, bug fixes and code refactor
  • Work with Product, BA and QA teams to ensure the highest quality across the full development lifecycle
  • Take part in story refinement and estimation exercises
  • Perform code review, providing meaningful feedback to colleagues
What you bring :
  • 7 to 14 years of experience in Frontend Development with working on modern web applications
  • Experienced with modern JavaScript (ES2015+), TypeScript, Angular and RxJS
  • Has a keen interest in testing, with experience of Jest or Jasmine
  • Passionate about writing clean, performant code and robust testing
  • Enjoys collaborating with other members of the engineering team and working cross-functionally with other teams that are part of the development lifecycle
  • Has excellent problem-solving skills and enjoys working towards performant and optimal solutions suites
Added Bonus if you have :
  • Have experience of writing e2e tests with Cypress or similar
  • Understand and have experience of ngRx or similar Redux libraries
  • Have knowledge of Nx monorepo patterns
  • Be experienced in building bespoke UI component libraries
