Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow HRSD Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of HR Service Delivery solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role is responsible for defining HRSD solution architecture, ensuring best practices, scalability, security, and alignment with HR and IT enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities:
HRSD Solution Architecture & Design
Own the end-to-end HRSD solution architecture from discovery through post-go-live support
Design scalable HRSD solutions covering Case Management, HR Catalog, Knowledge, Lifecycle Events, COEs, and Employee Service Center / ECP
Define data models, relationships, and table structures aligned with HR and enterprise standards
Ensure alignment with ServiceNow OOTB capabilities, minimizing customizationsBusiness & Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with HR leadership, COE owners, HR Operations, Legal, and Compliance teams
Translate HR business strategies into technical and functional architecture designs
Lead architecture workshops, design reviews, and solution walkthroughs
Act as the primary architectural advisor for HRSD capabilities and roadmapSecurity, Compliance & Data Privacy
Architect and enforce HR data security models, including:Role-based access
HR Criteria
ACLs and data segregationEnsure compliance with GDPR, SOX, HIPAA (where applicable), and internal HR policiesIntegration Architecture
Design and govern integrations with HRIS and enterprise systems:Workday, SAP HCM, Oracle HCM
Active Directory / Azure AD
Payroll and benefits providersDefine integration patterns (REST, SOAP, event-based, batch)
Architect MID Server strategy, data synchronization, and error handlingPlatform Governance & Best Practices
Establish HRSD development standards, naming conventions, and design guidelines
Review and approve solution designs, configurations, and custom development
Ensure solutions follow ServiceNow best practices, upgrade safety, and performance optimization
Define governance for update sets / CI-CD pipelinesTechnical Leadership & Mentorship
Provide hands-on technical guidance to developers and BAs
Conduct design and code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability
Mentor teams on HRSD architecture patterns and OOTB usageTesting, Deployment & Support
Oversee UAT strategy, validate test coverage, and support defect resolution
Guide deployment planning, cutover activities, and hypercare support
Support platform upgrades and HRSD feature adoptionRoadmap & Continuous Improvement
Define and maintain the HRSD capability roadmap
Evaluate new ServiceNow HRSD features and releases
Drive continuous improvement and automation across HR processesRequired Skills & Qualifications:
10+ years of ServiceNow platform experience, with 3+ years in HRSD architecture and implementation
Strong expertise in HR Case Management, HR Catalog, Lifecycle Events, COEs, and Employee Service Center / ECP
Solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, Flow Designer, scripting, and integrations
Experience designing integrations with HRIS systems (Workday, SAP HCM, Oracle HCM)
Strong knowledge of HR data security, HR Criteria, roles, ACLs, and data privacy
Proven ability to lead solution design, technical governance, and architecture reviews
Experience working in Agile delivery models and collaborating with cross-functional teamsPreferred
ServiceNow CIS - HRSD, CSA, CAD & CTA
