We are currently looking for a Lead Engineer - Full-Stack in India.As a Lead Engineer - Full-Stack, you will be at the forefront of driving complex initiatives from concept to production, balancing hands-on coding with leadership responsibilities. This role offers the chance to design and deliver high-impact product features, mentor engineers, and shape the technical direction of the team. Take end-to-end ownership of product features — from planning, design, and development to deployment and monitoring.
Define and guide system architecture with a focus on scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability.
Lead full-stack development using Next.js, React.js, Node.js, and MySQL.
Mentor and support engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
Drive performance improvements across the stack (TTFB, LCP, Lighthouse) and ensure system reliability.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align technical delivery with business objectives.
Champion best practices in CI/CD, testing, documentation, and the use of AI-powered developer tools to enhance productivity.

Requirements

6–10 years of experience in full-stack web development, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
Proven track record of leading projects end-to-end, from technical scoping through deployment.
Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Next.js (SSR, routing, data fetching), and Node.js.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and performance optimization.
Experience in project and release management, including task breakdown, delegation, and stakeholder communication.
Strong team management and mentorship skills, fostering accountability and professional growth.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
Preferred: Experience with scalable e-commerce platforms and AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.).
