Job Description:Job location- PuneDomain- Automotive LightingSoftware- CATIAEducation- BE/ Btech in Mechanical EngineeringExperience- 3 to 9 yearsPlease find the JD as below –-Project delivery related to engineering and design from kick off to implementation including QFD, benchmarking, feature analysis, engineering, drawing and model preparation and release, CAE and physical validation support, DFMEA and DVP-Preparation of Bill of Material in all exterior & Interior Lighting systems.-Exposure to global requirements for exterior lamps & Interior lamps in term of regulatory requirements. types of light sources, venting options, reflector designs, optics, sealing section designs, material, air flow, condensation, mounting and GD&T, manufacturing processes (such as multi-K injection molding, lamp assembly techniques, lamps testing & validation etc.)-Homologation knowledge of Exterior lighting systems and care to be taken in product design.-Creating master sections of Exterior trims parts and lighting components with interface to meet craftsmanship requirements.-Finalizing mounting strategy of exterior trim parts and lighting components with interface parts to meet robustness and other performance and Quality targets.-Expertise on plastic component design and knowledge, understanding of tooling.-Knowledge of Mould flow analysis and understand its effects on final product requirements.-Knowledge of various plastic manufacturing process and critical parameters in exterior trims system and lighting systems which affects product requirements.-Exposure to Catia V5 and engineering data management systems.-Experience in major Automobile OEM will add advantage.-Able to write or modify RFQ covering all PAT, product, quality, reliability requirements.-Team leader should act as a mentor to his junior team members.-Should be able to interact with CFT in client & Supplier companies.-Apart from the CAD Engineer related tasks, incumbent is capable of troubleshooting / address issues within the team & solve them accordingly.-Able to manage team members.-Good communication Skills (English written & Verbal)-Review design done by team members.Software & Tools-CATIA expertise, in solid, surface modeling, assembly modeling, 3D annotations-Good knowledge of PLM and good exposure to DMU, Team Center (TCE/TCUA)-Expert in MS Office especially Excel and PowerPointAbout Company:#ComeJoinUs in #EngineeringABetterWorld.
