As a member of Milacron’s IT Shared Services team, the developer leverages technical expertise, creativity, and process-oriented development to enhance PLM capabilities and support multiple business entities globally.Work You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with Engineering, IT Analysts, and PLM stakeholders to gather requirements and implement scalable Windchill solutions
- Design, develop, and configure PTC Windchill and Thingworx APPS, including PDMLink, ProjectLink, MPMLink, and Windchill Quality Solutions
- Customize workflows, lifecycles, roles, access control policies, and business rules using best practices Windchill Business Logic, published APIs, and Configuration tools
- Develop and maintain integrations between Windchill and ERP, CAD, CRM, and other enterprise systems using web services and middleware
- Document all functional specifications, technical designs, use cases, and integration touchpoints
- Support data migration activities, Windchill upgrades, and maintenance tasks
- Ensure PLM system data integrity, security settings, and version control mechanisms across global teams
- Provide Help Desk and enhancement support related to Windchill features, templates, document management, and BOM configuration
- Partner with global business units to optimize change management, product release workflows, project collaboration spaces, and document processes.
- Design, develop, and maintain Windchill Reports and Report building
- Configure and maintain Windchill publishing.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Windchill Development and PLM system support
- Expertise in Windchill APIs, Info*Engine, XML, Java, JSP, and web services (REST/SOAP)
- Expertise in PTC Thingworx API and APP development
- Familiarity with CAD data management (Creo/ProE), BOM structures, and enterprise integrations
- Experience customizing Windchill workflows, lifecycle templates, and data models
- Strong grasp of engineering change management and product data governance
- Experience in Windchill Business Rules Configuration (BRC), Type & Attribute Management
- Basic release and deployment management practices
- Ability to critically evaluate feature requests and offer strategic alternatives
- Excellent English communication skills: additional languages are a plus
- Self-driven and comfortable working in a globally distributed team
- Willingness to travel up to 10%, domestic and occasional international
- Experience with MS Azure-based integrations.
