Position: Senior AccountantLocation: Dalhousie, KolkataCompany: We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client’s dynamic restaurant and bar operations. The ideal candidate will bring specialized expertise in the hospitality industry, particularly in managing financials for food and beverage establishments, along with proficiency in handling related statutory returns and compliance.Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance. Prepare and file statutory returns such as GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other industry-specific compliances for restaurant/bar operations. Manage inventory costing, cost control, and profitability analysis for food, beverages, and liquor stock. Conduct monthly/quarterly financial closings, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Qualifications & Experience: Must graduate with 5+ years of post-qualification experience. Proven track record in the restaurant/bar/hospitality sector, with hands-on knowledge of beverage costing, excise duties, and FSSAI-related financial reporting.
