JobType: full-timeRequirementsWe are seeking a highly skilled Financial Due Diligence (FDD) professional with strong expertise in evaluating businesses during mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions. This role is pivotal in assessing the financial health, performance, and potential risks of target companies to support clients in making well-informed investment decisions.The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of experience in FDD, transaction advisory, or related fields, with a proven ability to lead due diligence engagements and provide insights that drive value creation. You will be working in a client-facing capacity, supporting both buy-side and sell-side mandates while collaborating with cross-functional teams including tax, legal, and operational experts.Key Responsibilities1. Financial Due Diligence Execution
- Conduct end-to-end financial due diligence (FDD) engagements for M&A transactions.
- Analyze income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, working capital, and net debt positions to assess financial sustainability and risks.
- Prepare and review Quality of Earnings (QoE) reports, highlighting adjustments, revenue trends, and profit normalization.
- Identify and evaluate deal issues, financial red flags, and opportunities that could impact valuation or transaction structure.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, presenting findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
- Lead discussions with client executives, investors, and key stakeholders to explain the financial and strategic implications of findings.
- Provide insights into the financial performance drivers and help clients assess the impact of industry and market trends on the target company.
- Work closely with colleagues across transaction advisory, tax, legal, and strategy teams to deliver holistic due diligence services.
- Support business development initiatives by contributing to client proposals, pitch materials, and thought leadership content.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that due diligence insights align with the broader deal strategy and objectives.
- Lead multiple engagements simultaneously, managing timelines, priorities, and deliverables with precision.
- Supervise and mentor junior consultants, guiding them on financial modeling, data analysis, and report drafting.
- Maintain rigorous compliance with internal quality standards, professional guidelines, and confidentiality requirements.
- Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, CFA, or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in financial due diligence, transaction advisory, M&A consulting, or audit.
- Strong technical expertise in FDD methodologies, financial statement analysis, and deal structuring.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills; ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders and clients.
- Strong project management abilities, with experience in leading teams and delivering under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools; exposure to BI tools is an advantage.
