In this critical role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining our robust and scalable cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Your expertise in deploying and managing storage, compute, caching and control plane solutions will be essential in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our core platforms.What you will doDesign and Implement AWS Infrastructure: Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of complex cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, specifically focusing on compute , storage , caching, networking and control plane servicesAutomate and Orchestrate: Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of AWS resources.CI/CD Pipeline Management: Contribute to the development and maintenance of our continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable software deployments.Monitoring and Alerting: Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues.Performance Optimisation and Cost Management: Analyse and optimize AWS resource utilisation, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies for efficient cloud operations.Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices within the AWS environment, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expert-level support for platform-related issues, collaborating with development and operations teams to resolve incidents and implement root cause analyses.Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure designs, configurations, and operational procedures.Collaboration and Mentorship: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and product managers.
