Head of Procurement for an industrial automation client in IndiaReporting into the India head and global leadership and managing a team, you shall be responsible for:

Engaging with functional support teams such as Supplier Quality, Finance, IT, to drive initiatives and to align policies and procedures.
Participating in project budget and schedule discussions with New Product teams to support the team goal and align with realistic expectations of supply base.
Identifying, selecting, and stewarding prioritised suppliers for the regional procurement teams / business partners.
Interfacing with leadership and related stakeholders to support their strategic objectives to identify and prioritize cost-savings and efficiency opportunities, in particular the functions.
Responding to and address supplier service and / or quality issues to avoid negative impact on the company.
Establishing Category Management reviews with the Global Category Leads and Monitoring and improving existing prices and service levels. Identifying and driving process improvements, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
Conducting RFQ
Leading the Category Management team to deliver a series of benefit types, such as price reduction, rebate, cost avoidance, and value add.

Only candidates with electromechanical components procurement experience apply|Only candidates who have managed a spend of atleast 150 million dollars applyIdeally you have 15+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Development and Procurement. Exposure to managing Mechanical, Electronics, Electromechanical, and Electricals categories ( PCBs, Pumps, Switchgears, Motors, Transformers, capacitors etc) and exposure to International Logistics category are a MUST. You should have exposure in Sourcing from partners outside India and should have worked towards making India as the best country to source from also. You should have worked in a Global Setup and worked with internal international stakeholders. You should have exposure to work in Oracle ERP and should understand MRP / ASCP tools and should be good with planning processes.Our client is one of the leaders in the Industrial Automation space and they are on a growth mode.
