Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Associate Director with more than 17 years of experience to join our team. As the Electrical Associate Director, you will play a main role in leading and managing the Electrical design aspects of our projects. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise, guiding teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality Electrical solutions to our clients across various sectors including buildings, data center, commercial real estate, airports, hospital, hospitality, industrial etc.Responsibilities:Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to team throughout all project phases, including conceptual design, detailed design, construction, and commissioning. Preform the role as a checker/Approver for critical Electrical deliverables. Responsible for skill enhancement of the team members.Project Management: Ensuring that projects are completed within scope, budget, and schedule meeting quality standards and client expectations.Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, Issue the deliverables as per the project scope. Initiate the value engineering ideas in the project which will help client to ensure safe and sustainable design.Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of Electrical engineers, designers, and technicians.Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to review and validate Electrical designs, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices. Perform the responsibility as an approver of the documents/Deliverables. Responsible for technical audit in the project.Technical Expertise: Lead the project and giving the guidance to the team. Handle the training portfolio in the discipline and strengthen the technical team. Familiar with all National and International standards applicable to the project.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with Electrical design, proactively addressing challenges and ensure mitigation plan.Collaboration: Foster collaboration and coordination with other disciplines, such as architecture, structural engineering, Mechanical engineering, and environmental engineering, to integrate Electrical systems seamlessly into overall project designs across a range of sectors.Business Development: Support business development efforts by participating in proposal development and presentations as directed by superior.Experience Required:More than 17 years of experience in Electrical engineering, with a proven record of working as a lead engineer for complex projects of data center, commercial complexes, airports, hospitals, and industrial sectors.In-depth knowledge of Electrical systems, including Preparation of SLDs, EHV substations, electrical power distribution, system study, Earthing design, Layout engineering, Handling of LLE items procurement.Exposure in industry-standard software tools for MEP design and analysis (e.g., AutoCAD, BIM, 3D Environment, Revit, Analytical Software etc.).Strong leadership & communication, and people skills,.Experience working in a consulting engineering environment, preferably within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a reputed Institute.
