As a Collection Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the collection process and ensuring timely recovery of outstanding payments. Qualifications And Skills 4-6 years of experience in collections management, preferably in the financial services industry Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field Proven track record of meeting collection targets and reducing bad debt Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team Excellent communication and negotiation skills Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and utilize collection data Knowledge of collection laws, regulations, and best practices Proficiency in using collection software and CRM systems Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines Roles And Responsibilities Oversee and manage the collection process to ensure timely recovery of outstanding payments Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize bad debt and maximize collections Monitor and analyze collection data to identify trends and areas for improvement Manage a team of collection agents, providing guidance and support to achieve collection targets Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies to resolve customer queries and disputes Proactively communicate with customers to establish payment plans and resolve delinquent accounts Prepare and present collection reports and performance metrics to senior management Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations related to collections
