This is a full-time position with a requirement of 1 to 3 years of professional experience. The role demands a strong understanding of equity trading and excellent attention to detail.Qualifications and Skills
  • Equity Trading (Mandatory skill): Proven ability to execute equity trades efficiently and accurately.
  • Trade Reconciliation (Mandatory skill): Experience in reconciling trades to ensure data is accurate and discrepancies are resolved.
  • Order Execution (Mandatory skill): Capability to execute orders promptly while adhering to market conditions and client requirements.
  • Trade Surveillance: Knowledge of monitoring trading activities to detect and prevent market abuses.
  • Excel: Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for managing spreadsheets and analyzing trade data.
  • Portfolio Management: Experience in supporting portfolio management activities to optimize investment returns.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of regulatory requirements to ensure all trading activities are compliant with laws.
  • Risk Management: Ability to assess and manage market risks effectively to minimize potential trading losses.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Execute buy and sell orders for equities on behalf of the firm while maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Monitor market conditions to optimize trade executions and ensure cost-effectiveness in trading strategies.
  • Reconcile daily trades and transactions to ensure the accuracy of trade data and resolve any discrepancies that arise.
  • Conduct trade surveillance to detect and prevent market irregularities and ensure adherence to trading regulations.
  • Support portfolio management activities, analyzing investment products, and assisting in optimizing investment returns.
  • Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure that all trading practices are aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports and analysis of trading activities to support decision-making processes.
  • Participate in risk management activities to assess and mitigate trading risks effectively.
