Builds thorough understanding of client’s business, technology and process needs
Identification of GAPs and enhancing the development procedures as per client / product requirements
Working with Program management team in schedule preparation, tracking and estimation
Create a flexible technical design that is scalable and reusable
Creation of Technical specification based on Business requirements
Development of re-usable reconciliation procedures
Allocate and guide the team from Kick off to Go live of projects
Assisting Pre-sales team in dev related RFPs
Promote teamwork and culture of accountability
Co-Ordinate with onshore and offshore resources and guide team members as required
Identifies opportunities for process and procedure enhancements to drive efficiency and customer service levels

Basic, Required Qualifications:

Minimum eight years of experience in Life Insurance domain
Minimum eight years of experience in programming and debugging using COBOL, JCL, VSAM and CICS technologies

Other Desired Qualifications:

LOMA Certification is preferred
Experience in SDLC lifecycle in waterfall and agile methodologies
Experience in translating Business requirements and Gaps into Technical specifications
Working knowledge on JAVA, Shell Scripting and Linux is an added advantage
Education Qualification - Graduates with Min. of 12+4 Campus Education (BE / M.Sc / MCA)
