- Review mechanical designs of heat exchangers to ensure compliance with standards and operational requirements.
- Troubleshoot performance and leakage issues in heat exchangers and recommend effective solutions.
- Monitor heat exchanger performance, identify issues, and propose corrective actions.
- Review and evaluate vendor design packages for compliance and quality.
- Design reboilers and condensers for various process applications.
- Apply working knowledge of mechanical design principles for pressure vessels.
- Carry out Process Simulations, calculations and develop Heat & Mass Balance as required.
- Expert in process simulation tools like Pro-II, Aspen, HTRI, FLARENET, etc.
- Proven skills in routine process calculations [Blowdown/Depressurization(MDMT) studies, Heat dissipation study, Thermal design of Heat exchanger, Compressor/Pipeline surge analysis, Line & Equipment sizing]
- Should have strong communication skills.
- Estimate efforts, timelines and dependencies to solve the problem.
- Build / Update the model for analysis (including various scenarios, boundary conditions and acceptance criteria)
- Review results and make recommendations
- 6 - 12yrs Proven experience in the design, fabrication, and troubleshooting of various heat exchanger types, including:
- Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers
- Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers
- Plate-Type Heat Exchangers
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes such as TEMA, API 660/661, ASME Section VIII Division 1 & 2.
- Ability to handle discussions / communications independently
- Works in a Collaborative environment
