This position needs to have in-depth technical knowledge about 3 Phase UPS system including knowledge & skills needed to maintain, operate, trouble shoot, test/validate, simulate specific issue conditions related to UPS functionalities & usage of SE 3-phase medium/high power UPS systems, Lab related tools & equipments etc.This candidate will be based out of SE Bangalore, India office & will be responsible for the support to Product Design leads & Senior Sustaining Engineers. The person may also be called upon to help the projects in other regions WW and may need Local & International travel as and when relevant.· Work efficiently with different Cross Functional teams· Understand Products’ Architecture design, specification, applicable standards, configuration, application & operations to provide fast and accurate responses to assigned tasks related to Sustenance activities· Work closely with the factory team, Quality Lead & vendors for performing the testing on the product related parts/assemblies whenever needed.· Provide feedback to R&D engineers with recommendations on improvements to the solutions.· Qualification of Critical Electronic components such as IGBT’s, Magnetics, Thyristors, AC/DC capacitors, FAN’s etc· Re-qualification of power electronic components identified through QVE approach.· Conduct & participate in Root Cause Analysis, Brainstorming solutions/suggestions, Validation and verification of solutions until implementation.· Contribute towards competency improvement.· Ability to work independently and become a role model.Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical/Power Electronics Engineering or equivalent
EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Electronic Hardware /Power Electronics Products specifically 3 Phase UPS Products
  • Good Knowledge on Micro Soft Office applications, Micro soft Visio, Micro soft Project, (PCBA & electrical design tools, but not essential) etc.
