- Maintaining General Ledger and tracking all manual Journals recorded in the books.
- Recognizing capital expenditure based on internal policy defined.
- Ensuring proper classification of cost under profit & loss account.
- Co-ordination with AP, AR, Inventory, Payroll, Treasury & Intercompany teams internally for getting information on time to meet timelines.
- Responsible for calculating Depreciation, Amortization of costs, etc.
- Creating provisions wherever required in the books.
- Reviewing Intercompany transactions to ensure balances are agreed from both sides.
- Preparation of Monthly MIS reports within the time frames defined.
- Reconciliation of General Ledgers with respect to validity of the closing balances every month.
- Co-ordination with Audit teams for providing information required.
- Frequent co-ordination and communications with various countries to ensure all the transactions are properly considered & accounted for.
- Maintaining good & smooth communication channels with members with in the team as well as with clients.
- Maintaining high confidentiality of information to protect the interests of company and staff.
- Bachelor's Degree OR Masters in commerce.
- Candidate must be at least a semi-qualified Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or a qualified Cost Accountant from The Institute of Cost & Work Accountants of India.
- 5-6 Years of experience in Finance & Accounting functions out of which at least 3-4 years of experience handling Month close activities & Preparation of Balance sheet & P&L.
- Must have the working knowledge of AP, AR and GL in ERP environment (ERP Oracle knowledge is suggestable).
- Should be proficient with MS Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
- Must be having well understanding of accounting concepts and policies.
- Must be very familiar with working with multiple currencies, foreign exchange currencies and recognition of loss or gain on currency fluctuations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Required multi-task, organizing and time management skills.
- Must be pro-active in thinking, accepting the responsibility and ownership.
