You will be working as Procurement Specialist and will be part of Electrification business Area for Smart Power division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Procurement & Logistics Manager and will be responsible for ensuring the implementation, maintenance and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the procurement function to support the business. Your responsibilities Ensuring all relevant parties understand strategies and execute processes accordingly. Ensuring alignment between local SCM activities and the SCM centers Securing full utilization of Pro-Supply global supplier relationship management platform according to relevant procedure, both related to sharing of supplier information and to finding existing high performing suppliers to ABB Managing, planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, emerging country spending and savings forecasts Monitoring the supply chain management processes and activities. Pro-actively working to resolve issues related to procurement cost, quality and delivery Providing and maintaining standard terms in purchase contracts or terms and conditions in line with company directives and guidelines Your background Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management Knowledge on plastic resin commodity Thermoset and thermoplastic, Metals Process, Stamping, Assembly, along with cost breakdown model Knowledge on Plastic or Metal Process Manufacturing and other manufacturing process Should have knowledge on outsourcing activities and arrive at the labor cost for assembly Should be proficient in Excel, Presentations and SAP Knowledge More about us ABB Smart Power is a global technology leader, with products and solutions that make power supplies smart, connected and protected.
