Role OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Lead — Market Share for the Kolkata territory. This is a city-level P&L ownership role within the Franchisee Division, responsible for driving overall market share growth across all trading segments. The incumbent will serve as the single-point owner for market share in Kolkata, operating through the Regional Business Development team and a robust network of franchisees.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Share Ownership & Strategy
  • Act as the whole-sole owner of the city-level market share for the Franchisee Division in Kolkata, with full accountability for growth and performance.
  • Design, devise, and execute a comprehensive city-level strategy to increase market penetration through the franchisee network and their end clients.
  • Develop segment-wise market share improvement plans covering Acquisition (new client additions), Cash, F&O (Futures & Options), and Commodities.
Franchisee Growth & Enablement
  • Monitor, guide, and drive franchisees to achieve aggressive growth targets across Acquisition, Cash, F&O, and Commodities through an optimal product and segment mix.
  • Increase the depth and breadth of penetration within Kolkata by activating dormant franchisees, onboarding new partners, and expanding the geographic footprint.
  • Enable franchisees in hunting for high-volume traders across all segments (Cash, F&O, Commodities) through structured lead generation and conversion support.
Expiry & Non-Expiry
  • Own and drive the expiry-day and non-expiry-day trading strategy for franchisees, covering both NIFTY and SENSEX derivatives.
  • Design training modules, conduct workshops, and run focused drives to ensure efficient execution of expiry and non-expiry strategies by franchisees and their dealing teams.
  • Monitor expiry-day volumes and market share on a real-time basis and course-correct as needed.
Regional Business Development Team Management
  • Lead and drive the Regional Business Development team in Kolkata to achieve city-level market share targets.
  • Set clear KPIs, review performance, and ensure alignment of the field team with the overall market share strategy.
Marketing, Influencer Tie-Ups & Penetration Initiatives
  • Devise and strategize influencer tie-ups (sub-brokers, remisiers, market educators, trading communities, finfluencers) to deepen market penetration in the Kolkata region.
  • Conceptualize, plan, and execute marketing initiatives including trader meets, seminars, digital campaigns, and referral programs tailored for the Kolkata market.
  • Act as the whole-sole owner of all such initiatives, from ideation through execution and ROI measurement.
Analytics & Reporting
  • Track city-level market share data across NSE and BSE, segment-wise volumes, client additions, and franchisee productivity on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Present comprehensive MIS and insights to the Zonal Head with actionable recommendations.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Experience: 8—14 years in broking / financial services, with significant exposure to franchisee / channel partner management and market share-driven roles.
  • Education: MBA/ PGDM (Finance / Marketing) preferred. Graduate with relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of Capital Markets — Cash, F&O (NIFTY & SENSEX), Commodities. Solid grasp of expiry and non-expiry trading dynamics.
  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Kolkata broking landscape, franchisee ecosystem, trader communities, and competitive positioning.
  • Skills: Strategic thinking, strong analytical ability, P&L orientation, relationship management, excellent communication, and a hunter mindset.
  • Certifications: NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives) and other relevant certifications preferred.
