We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, 'anchor', days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction To build, maintain and develop analytical capabilities to help drive value-add action to the Barclays Payments Organisation. Working with a number of stakeholders, to develop analytical insight to influence strategic decision What will you be doing Support the Strategy & Insights team in value added, data driven insights across a number of analytical capabilities Pricing/Market Analysis Financial modelling Risk / Reward Analysis Data Manipulation Track KPIs / commercial success of initiatives, feedback to stakeholders and incorporate learnings in to future strategies Support opportunities to optimise and automate activities and processes Support documentation of proposals and analysis, through to sign-off Support External reviews eg Audit, Peer reviews Ensure Adherence to Model Risk Management Standards Share and import learning and best practice from around Barclays and DDnA Ensure alignment of priorities against the Business Payments Game Plan What We're Looking For Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in any discipline Experience of value-based customer management, decision systems/technology and data analysis Technical skills, with the need to have had experience in using SAS / SQL Analytical and problem solving skills with strong Excel Experience of interrogating/interpreting multiple sources of data/information Excellent communication skills, which will involve explanation of outputs to internal team/leaders Ability to analyse data that will help drive insight and business strategies Attention to detail and accuracy Qualitative with quantitative Skills That Will Help You In The Role Strong presentation skills (both oral and written) and presenting to senior stakeholders Ability to lead analytical insight and understand business problems and offer various options To add value and apply data/insight with a 360 degree view Experience of using large data sets using SAS / SQL Forecasting/projecting Where will you be working Noida Be More at Barclays At Barclays, each day is about being more - as a professional, and as a person.
