With a focus on sustainability and advanced manufacturing technologies, Adani Cements aims to revolutionize the construction sector and contribute to building a stronger, more resilient future.Job Purpose:The Plant Head oversees the optimal utilization of the plant, effective production cost management, and adherence to internal controls and risk management practices. This role ensures high-quality concrete production, timely logistics, and prompt resolution of customer complaints. The Plant Head promotes team development, coordinates maintenance activities, manages raw material procurement, and implements efficient waste management practices. This position also drives business expansion, ensures compliance with legal and regulatory standards, fosters transparency in operations, and develops and enforces plant-level policies.Responsibilities: 1.Maintenace of plant and equipment. Ensure BOS Compliance.2.Develop multi-skilling of plant staff and manage working hours including attendance. Efficientincluding increase in usage of recycled water.3.Interact with customers and understand their specific requirements to allow mix designs to beindividually tailored. Develop new mix designs and revise existing ones, whenever required asdirected by Head-Technical.
4.Ensure compliance with all Quality Assurance /Quality Control protocols as per BOS.5.Monitor testing of all concrete making ingredients for the RMC Plants in the clusters andconduct random quality checks and lab trials.6.Ensure all raw materials used comply with relevant Indian Standards as well as Companynorms for quality and quantity. Endorse vendor qualification for all input raw materialsmarket representation.7.Carry out regular inspection and review of all technical records and documentation on thetesting of incoming raw materials as well as concrete.8.Ensure that necessary certification, calibration and inspection of equipment's such asCompression Testing Machine (CTM), weigh balances etc is carried out regularly as per IndianStandard requirements and Company norms.9.Plan & Schedule the production of concrete to deliver on time.Qualifications: Essential Diploma - Civil
Desirable/Preferable BE - Civil
Total Years (Band) 6 to 15 years
Years (Relevant) 5 years
Seniority (desirable) 6-7 years of experience in Production & Quality of Concrete in RMC industry
