AFBC DCS ENGINEER FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

• DCS Operations: Control AFBC boilers, feeders, fans, and auxiliaries from the central control room.
• Process Optimization: Continuously monitor steam pressure, temperature, drum levels, and combustion efficiency to maximize performance.
• Startup/Shutdown: Execute safe, standard startup and shutdown procedures for boilers.
• Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to alarms, trip conditions, and operational issues, collaborating with field operators for corrective actions.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate shift logs, trends, and performance reports.

• Education: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: Generally 3–5 years of experience operating AFBC boilers in a power plant or steel company,
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in DCS platforms (e.g., Siemens, ABB, Emerson), PID loop tuning, HMI development, and PLC logic,
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of boiler thermodynamics, combustion engineering, and instrumentation,

• Rapid troubleshooting and decision-making under pressure.
• Coordination with cross-functional teams (maintenance, operations).
• Strong focus on safety culture.
