Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead and manage the execution of Government projects. The ideal candidate is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects associated with district and state government agencies. The role involves managing government contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, liaising with government officials, and coordinating internal teams to meet project goals on time and within budget. Job Responsibilities: Core Operational & Project Management: Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle – from initiation to closure – for large-scale government and public sector projects. Ensure timely planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of projects within defined budgets and timelines. Manage tender submissions, contract negotiations, and ensure adherence to public procurement norms. Coordinate resource allocation, budgeting, documentation, and compliance requirements. Track project progress, generate reports, and ensure milestones are met. Government Liaison & Public Relations : Serve as the key liaison between the company and state/central government agencies. Build and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders, PSUs, and transport departments. Facilitate clearances, resolve project-related escalations, and ensure timely approvals and audits. Represent the company in project reviews and maintain consistent communication with government officials. Job Requirements : Qualification: BBA/MBA (Preferred specialization in Project Management, Public Administration, or Operations). Relevant Experience: Minimum 6 years in government or public sector project management. Male candidate preferred | Proficiency in English, Kannada, and Telugu (Mandatory). Exposure to government project execution and documentation. Understanding of government procurement and compliance protocols. Strong team management, leadership capabilities, operational efficiency and stakeholder management.
