This role will be within our Cyber organization, working at the intersection of business strategy, network engineering and cybersecurity technology products. It could be office-based or remote in India with a capability to overlap at least 3 hours into the Raritan, NJ business day. As the Manager of Network Security, you will be responsible for managing the product of network security through engineering and deployment of security capabilities while creating a positive user experience. This product of network security includes cloud network infrastructure components and remaining on-premises infrastructure at our branch offices. This role requires technical experience in multiple fields including, but not limited to, firewall configuration and maintenance, DDOS protection, and Secure Edge. You will collaborate with multiple groups across security and IT operations as well as other non-IT technology owners. You will also oversee the operation of security tools to ensure they address risk and threat to the company. Specific responsibilities: Contribute to and execute the strategy, vision, and architecture of the network security product Enable the business to innovate rapidly and achieve its goals by providing secure architectural patterns and capabilities Improve the delivery of network security to customers and partners across Enterprise IT, Operational Technology and Business Groups Work with Business Groups to craft modernization plans for legacy equipment and technologies Create opportunities for efficiencies through innovative strategic decisions balancing cost and quality while maintaining appropriate levels of security. Actively engage with and shape industry trends in cybersecurity capabilities and tooling. Partner with security and enterprise architects to identify and evaluate emerging technologies Deliver high quality work outcomes and customer service in a high-pressure, fast paced setting to meet company needs. Qualifications - Required A bachelor's degree or equivalent by track-record of successful enterprise experience. Graduate degree preferred. 6+ years of broad IT infrastructure experience with 4+ years of hands-on network engineering experience and 2+ years of network security experience. Experience supporting a broad range of network security technologies including firewall management and configuration, intrusion prevention, secure service edge, network access control, network segmentation, and wireless security Excellent people management and employee relations skills. Strong leadership presence, influencing, collaboration, communication information-sharing and organizational skills. Proven track record of innovation and continuous improvement. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize in parallel Customer service orientation, eye for business value, and a bias for action. Expert at working with virtual, and diverse global teams of varied backgrounds and cultural experiences. Exercises independent judgment, strong decision making and problem solving for key processes. Experience with zero trust architecture.
