About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Qt Expert/Solution Consultant to join Bosch Software and Digital Solutions' portfolio team. This senior position requires an industry veteran who will drive Qt-based solutions, lead presales activities, and build our Qt service practice for various clients across domains. The role focuses primarily on Automotive and Healthcare domains, combining technical excellence with business acumen to deliver high-value solutions to our clients.Key Responsibilities:Spearhead technical solutions and architectures using Qt technology stack for complex client requirementsLead presales activities and technical discussions with customers, providing expert consultation on Qt-based solutionsBuild and mentor a Qt services delivery team, establishing best practices and driving technical excellenceGuide clients through strategic technology transitions, including Qt5 to Qt6 migrationsDevelop and execute technical strategies aligned with business objectivesEstablish architecture and design principles for large-scale Qt implementationsDrive innovation in HMI solutions, particularly in Automotive and Healthcare domainsProvide thought leadership through technical publications, presentations, and community engagementQualificationsEducational qualification:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fieldExperience :12+ YearsMandatory/requires Skills :12+ years of comprehensive experience with Qt framework and ecosystemProven expertise in Qt/QML development, including significant experience with Qt5 and Qt6Strong track record of leading large-scale Qt implementations in Automotive or Healthcare domainsDemonstrated experience in presales activities and customer-facing technical consultationsDeep understanding of Qt toolchain, performance optimization, and architectural patternsExpert-level proficiency in C++ and modern programming practicesExperience in building and leading technical teamsExcellent communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts to various stakeholdersBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fieldTechnical Expertise:Deep knowledge of Qt framework internals and optimization techniquesExpertise in Qt5 to Qt6 migration strategies and implementationStrong understanding of embedded systems and cross-platform developmentProficiency in modern C++, QML, and associated technologiesExperience with automotive standards (AUTOSAR, MISRA) and/or healthcare regulationsLeadership & Business Skills:Proven ability to build and scale technical service practicesExperience in presales and solution consultingStrong team leadership and mentoring capabilitiesStrategic thinking and business acumenExcellent stakeholder management skillsPreferred Skills :Experience with Qt certification programsContributions to Qt community or open-source projectsPublished technical articles or conference presentationsExperience with automotive HMI frameworks (Android Automotive, QNX, etc.)Knowledge of medical device software development processesFamiliarity with Bosch ecosystem and methodologies
