Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Finance Manager to lead the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions for a fast-growing organization in the alcohol industry. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in P&L management, variance analysis, working capital optimization, and end-to-end financial control—from production to market. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership, and the ability to collaborate across teams while setting up systems and processes to drive financial excellence.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze budget vs actuals across business verticals, identifying key trends, variances, and actionable insights.Oversee the monthly P&L, proactively highlighting exceptions and ensuring alignment with monthly financial targets.Drive Operating Working Capital analysis including:Receivables ageing and overdue monitoringInventory review including non-current stock and clearanceAccounts payable oversight.
Develop and implement SOPs, workflows, and standards for the finance division.
Conduct detailed state-wise/brand-wise profitability and investment analysis with monthly ROI reporting.Collaborate with business teams to provide financial insights and guidance on critical projects.Develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reporting tools.Lead monthly reviews with senior finance leadership.Own and execute the Annual Plan, Rolling Forecasts, and Latest Estimates according to corporate timelines.Ensure regulatory and internal compliance while optimizing financial performance.
Job Requirements:
B.Com, M.Com, CA, CMA, or MBA (Finance)5 to 10 years of relevant experience, mandatory experience in the alcohol industry.
End-to-end understanding of finance in production and market lifecycle is essentialSkills & Competencies:
Strong proficiency in P&L management and working capital analysisExperience with financial planning tools and dashboardsStrategic mindset with excellent communication and leadership skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
The candidate will primarily work remotely from India.
Occasional travel within India (including Goa, Delhi, Karnataka, and Gurgaon) may be required based on project needs.
Travel to Dubai may also be required as and when necessary.
