In this role you will be reporting to Senior Engineering Manager and will be responsible for documenting service activities, including reports and maintenance logs. Utilizing all relevant tools, reporting work done in a timely manner and follow-up when needed.Your responsibilities

Performing installation supervision, maintenance and process related issue resolution using ABB automation system at client sites
Collaborating with customers to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions
Providing training to clients on ABB automation system and maintenance procedures
Coordinating with internal teams to escalate complex issues and drive resolution
Staying updated on product developments and industry trends to enhance service delivery
Diagnosing technical issues, troubleshoot and providing timely solutions

Your background

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in electrical and electronics, instrumentation engineering
Require 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in automation solutions by similar suppliers in metal industry
Knowledge of IT/ network/ peripherals like UPS, printer, PC’s, server components of DCS system
Knowledge in ABB automation systems like 800xA, Compact HMI. ABB ACS800 / 880 multi drive, standalone drives, DCS600, DCS800 etc
Knowledge on drive tuning and different drive configurations and their interfaces
A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
