Role Summary: Responsible for advanced troubleshooting, design, implementation, and support of enterprise and data center networks. Acts as final escalation point and supports critical incidents, new deployments, and network optimization.Key Responsibilities· Act as final escalation (L3) for complex LAN/WAN, WLAN, VPN, and Data Center issues.· Handle P1/P2 incidents, perform deep packet analysis, and create RCA.· Design and implement network solutions; contribute to HLD/LLD.· Deploy and support BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS, MPLS, VXLAN/EVPN.· Implement and maintain configurations for routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.· Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, IPSec/SSL VPNs, IDS/IPS, and security policies.· Perform performance optimization, QoS tuning, and capacity planning.· Support network upgrades, migrations, and new site rollouts.· Prepare and execute change requests with risk and rollback plans (ITIL aligned).· Coordinate with OEM TAC teams and ISPs for escalations and new links.· Maintain documentation, network diagrams, SOPs, and mentor L1/L2 teams.· Experience with copper and fiber cabling.· Troubleshoot physical layer issues and maintain as-built cabling documentation.· Support data center expansions and new site deployments.Required Skills· Routing: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS· Switching: STP, VLAN, VTP, ACL, EtherChannel, VXLAN/EVPN· Security: Firewalls, VPN (IPSec/SSL), IDS/IPS· Wireless: WLAN Controllers, AP design basics· Load Balancers: F5 / A10· OEMs: Cisco, H3C, Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Extreme, SD-WAN· Tools: Packet capture and traffic analysis toolsResponsibilitiesRole Summary: Responsible for advanced troubleshooting, design, implementation, and support of enterprise and data center networks.
