- A highly analytical approach with an eagerness to solve technical problems using data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.
- Experience or curiosity about working with large-scale data to address valuable business challenges.
- The ability to collaborate efficiently within teams of diverse backgrounds, including technical and non-technical individuals.
- Comfort in a dynamic environment with evolving objectives, with a strong focus on iteration and user feedback.
- Minimum 7 years relevant work experience with a strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar.
- Minimum 7 years' experience with both front-end and back-end development, including but not limited to:
- Front-end development with TypeScript and JavaScript frameworks.
- Back-end development using Apache Spark or similar technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable platform solutions, focusing on end-to-end data pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve technical challenges across the stack.
- Utilize large-scale data to inform decision-making and enhance platform capabilities.
- Contribute to the development of best practices in software engineering and data management, with an emphasis on end-to-end data science workflows.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Continuously learn and stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
