Assist in implementing a unified scrap management policy by following established protocols for partner engagement, compliance checks, and stakeholder interactions.
Support cross-functional teams by ensuring that roles, responsibilities, and checkpoints defined in the policy framework are adhered to during daily operations.Process Design Execution:
Execute site-level workflows for scrap handling, approvals, and partner coordination as per the designed process maps.
Provide operational feedback to Leads on workflow challenges and support the integration of continuous improvement measures.Policy Effectiveness Review:
Conduct periodic site visits and collect post-transaction feedback from stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented policies.
Enforce zero value leakage through rigorous process adherence by monitoring day-to-day compliance with governance frameworks at site level and documenting any deviations.
Escalate non-compliance cases to the Lead, along with relevant supporting data, for corrective actions.Contract Preparation & Execution:
Draft and process contracts with selected partners by capturing scope of work, KPIs, SLAs, compliance obligations, and reporting schedules.
Ensure contracts are routed through proper approval channels, documented accurately, and stored for easy retrieval and audit purposes.Analytics & Insights:
Analyze auction results, buyer participation levels, and market price trends to generate insights for improving competitiveness.
Use the analysis to suggest ways of improving competitiveness, enhancing buyer engagement, and enabling better price discovery that supports value creation.
Compare internal scrap realization data with external industry benchmarks and best practices to identify improvement opportunities.System Automation Operations:
Operate digital tools that capture historical and ongoing scrap spend data to maintain accuracy, traceability, and audit readiness.
Update and manage real-time dashboards that provide Scrap Committee members with insights for faster, data-driven decision-making.Qualifications: Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or Engineering (Mechanical / Industrial / Production).
Preferred certifications: Data Analytics / ERP Tools / Compliance & Audit / Lean Six Sigma (basic level).Work Experience:
7+ years of experience in operations, process management, or compliance monitoring within manufacturing, supply chain, or scrap/recycling management.
Exposure to policy execution, system automation, and cross-functional coordination in industrial or corporate environments.
