The 3M Technology Center of Excellence will enable 3M to advance innovation at a faster pace, drive our digital transformation, and help define what’s next: our new products, solutions, and ideas to improve lives around the world.Job DescriptionRecord to Report SAP Cash Application and Credit AnalystExp 4 to 7 yearsJob Summary:The person hired for the position of Record to Report Analyst SAP Cash Application and Credit will be responsible for the implementation and support of key cash application and credit processes in 3Ms SAP ERP environment. The successful candidate will possess a strong combination of analytical and technical skills, and will design best practice SAP solutions in close collaboration with business counterparts. The position will include working across multiple areas and solutions to support both production and new releases of SAP ERP within 3M. In addition to SAP, the position will support additional applications in the ERP Ecosystem, including but not limited to Serrala.The candidate should have experience with the following configuration areas within the following SAP functionality:

Bank statement processing using standard SAP functionality and EDI.
Document clearing including residual processing.
Document clearing using search strings.
Bill of Exchange.
Financial Supply Chain Management.

The person hired for this position must also understand the integration of SAP FICO with other module/process areas, including SAP FICO, Sales & Distribution (SD) and master data.Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Assist in implementing / deploying SAP Cash Application and Credit functionality.
Execute and deliver SAP Solutions to Cash Application and Credit Operations through the leadership of process design and configuration, which meet defined global business objectives and requirements.
Collaborate with business counterparts in the design, development, testing and delivery of SAP standard Cash Application and Credit SAP Solutions.
Collaborate with IT colleagues, team members and cross functional teams in application design, development, integration, testing and deployment of SAP Solutions.
Design, create, test and document the configuration of SAP Cash Application and Credit functionality to support global business requirements and performance goals.
Work with 3M business areas and IT colleagues to define the overall application and technical requirements.
Ensure the products and components work together to meet the objectives and performance goals as defined in the functional, security, integration, performance, quality and operational requirements.
Identify and help resolve design issues, participates, and provides critique for design reviews.
Advocate recommended process design changes within their process community.
Support adherence to business and program objectives and program mission.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university with concentration in Accounting or Management Information Systems.
A minimum of 2 years experience with SAP Cash App or SAP Cash Finance configuration and design in SAP Finance & Controlling, working within the ASAP or a similar SDLC methodology
A minimum of 2 years experience producing business process, configuration, and WRICEF functional design documentation with high quality.
A minimum 3 years experience with MS Office suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with external interfaces, including EDI, as well as ALE / IDOC definition.
Experience with agile / iterative development methodologies to deliver SAP WRICEF objects.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Educational or professional background in Finance or Accounting, including a CPA or CMA designation.
A minimum 1-year experience with international or global SAP deployments.
Strong grasp of integration between SAP Financial Accounting (FI), Sales & Distribution (SD) and master data.
Experience with the following tools: SAP Solution Manager, Jira and Active Control.
