As part of our EY GDS - TechOps team, BTP Manager will design and implement cloud-native applications, integrations, and extensions using the SAP Business Technology Platform (CAP, BTP, Kyma, Integration Suite) to drive digital transformation. You will lead client workshops, mentor junior team members, ensure system scalability, and manage end-to-end project lifecycles. Bachelor's degree in related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.) or comparable job experiences.
At least 3+ years of experience in BTP
Worked as architect for scalable, cloud-native applications and extensions on SAP BTP using CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), Node.js/Java, and Cloud Foundry/Kyma runtimes.
Proven experience in designing complex integrations, cloud applications, and security architectures.
Solution Delivery: Drive end-to-end delivery of SAP projects, from requirement gathering to implementation, focusing on scalable and maintainable architectures.
Understanding of SAP Functional modules and business processes with the ability to translate business requirements and issues into technical solutions
Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner in a multi-region environment.
Experience working in a global setting with multi-regional teams, understanding cultural nuances and time zone differences.
Flexibility in managing work hours due to the volatile nature of Application Management work including ability to do shifts and being on call for critical business requirements
Innovation: Drive innovative solutions, leveraging new SAP technologies like S/4HANA and BTP.
Project & Performance Management: Manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and monitor system performance, ensuring SLA adherence.
Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively with business teams, functional consultants, and other technical teams.

Ideally, you'll also have:

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP BTP services (Cloud Foundry/Kyma), SAP S/4HANA, API management, and development frameworks (CAP/Node.js/Java).
Experience in Design and configure complex integrations using SAP Integration Suite (CPI), API Management, and Event Mesh.
Extensive hands-on BTP development with significant time in a managerial/leadership. Experience in Design, develop, and deploy ABAP solutions within SAP BTP is essential
Soft Skills: Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

What you will do:

Provide day to day Application Management support for SAP Applications across IT Service Management including service requests, incident management, enhancement requests, change management and problem management as Level 2 or 3 Application Management Specialist
Provide senior level support for SAP ABAP development activities including customizations, enhancements, and bug fixes across multiple SAP environments.
Lead and participate in the design, development and implementation of complex ABAP programs and solutions to address root cause analysis of critical business requirements and optimization of system performance.
Perform Code Reviews, Performance Tuning and optimization of ABAP programs to ensure optimal execution of SAP programs and applications.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather requirements, assess business needs and provide expert advice on ABAP development tailored to business requirements.
Lead and Coordinate the Resolution of Complex Technical issues and System Outages including root cause analysis and corrective action.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, assess business needs and provide advice on SAP ABAP requirements and programs.
Develop and maintain technical documentation including system configuration, installation procedures and guidelines.
Mentor and train junior SAP ABAP Team Members, sharing best practices and providing guidance on technical issues and troubleshooting techniques.
Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies and SAP best practices to drive operational efficiency through automation and innovation.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide off hours support as needed to ensure the availability and reliability of critical SAP systems.
Available to work on shift hours depending on the requirement of the client
