- Salesforce Solution Design: Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud that directly support business goals and patient engagement outcomes.
- Data Cloud Modelling and Segmentation: Create and optimize data models, queries, and custom objects to power sophisticated segmentation, personalization, and analytics that lift campaign performance.
- API and Integration Engineering: Develop and handle APIs, automation scripts, and custom components to extend platform capabilities and connect data reliably across the enterprise.
- Architecture Governance & Stakeholder Engagement: Own architecture standards and governance frameworks; act as the primary technical critical issue point and present solution designs and roadmap recommendations to senior collaborators and leadership.
- Campaign Orchestration: Build and automate sophisticated omni-channel journeys using tools like Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Mobile Studio; quantify impact and iterate quickly.
- Automation and Reusability: Develop reusable templates, automations, and workflows that compress cycle times and improve operational efficiency across markets.
- Compliance and Data Governance: Embed GDPR, CCPA, and internal standards into data handling and activation; champion privacy-by-design and audit-ready processes.
- Performance Optimization: Supervise platform health end to end, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to ensure high availability, resilience, and speed at scale.
- Issue Resolution and Reliability: Fix and resolve technical issues across integrations, data processing, and campaign execution; implement root-cause fixes that prevent recurrence.
- Platform Advancement: Stay ahead of with Salesforce releases and standards; lead proofs of concept and guide adoption that unlocks new business value.
- Documentation Excellence: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for custom developments, integrations, and workflows to enable repeatability and transparency.
- Enablement and Training: Deliver training and support to marketing and technical teams on Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud; raise capability and self-sufficiency across the organisation.
- 10+ years of overall development experience, including at least 8+ years in Marketing Technology, with a solid focus on SFMC and data cloud.
- Expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud including data modelling, data ingestion, identity resolution, segmentation, and activation.
- Deep technical proficiency across SFMC capabilities including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, and Content Builder.
- Strong programming skills in AMPscript, SQL, JavaScript, and Apex, with demonstrable experience in API development (REST/SOAP) and automation.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver integrations between SFMC/Data Cloud and external platforms such as Salesforce CRM, Snowflake, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Experience building reusable templates, automation workflows, and campaign frameworks that improve operational efficiency at scale.
- Proven track record of fixing and resolving sophisticated platform, integration, and data processing issues.
- Solid understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM) and experience embedding compliance into solution design.
- Experience leading and mentoring technical teams, conducting design reviews, and driving quality delivery in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Experience with SFMC (MCE), Salesforce Data Cloud (D360) and Personalization (Interaction Studio).
- Familiarity with Einstein AI and AgentForce features, including predictive scoring and propensity modelling.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Superb communication and customer management skills, showing proficiency in making complex technical concepts clear to non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality outcomes under pressure.
