From our welcoming, inclusive, and flexible culture to our global and diverse business, we offer opportunities not only to help you reach your potential but also to contribute to our clients’ achievements.Come join us in delivering better outcomes for our clients around the world!What is the Senior Business Analyst in Global Portfolio Analytics group responsible for?This position is a Senior Business Analyst position that will be the main contact for the various Investment Management groups and Business Partners Primary function will be to support Global Research Management processes, analysis, communication, and reporting requirements, be available to answer any related questions and perform business unit requirements which may surface in the day-to-day execution of responsibilities. This individual may also support related compliance efforts, periodic reporting and ad hoc projects. Work is performed in partnership with other Global Portfolio Analytics team members and various business partners.What are the ongoing responsibilities of Senior Business Analyst?Duties / Responsibilities:Perform financial/data analysis, reporting, and related activities for assigned areasDevelop, produce and interpret routine and non-routine reports of intermediate to advanced scope, providing analytical commentary and recommendations for changeProvide subject matter expertise on assigned systems or areas, including demonstrating an understanding of associated regulatory requirementsPartner with Trading and brokers to maintain accurate trade and payment records, identify issues, and follow up as necessary to resolveWork with management to develop policy, workflow and technology best practices, identify issues and develop creative solutionsMonitor various email boxes for assigned areas, developing responses by researching issues and identifying solutions within established proceduresPartner with vendors to maintain systems by providing ongoing maintenance, communicating issues, and overseeing implementation of approved enhancementsProvide post-implementation support for all approved deliverables.Work closely with the team and business partners to resolve any issues and help ensure timely delivery of reports.Ability to work in collaboration across business units.Additional Responsibilities:Design and recommend changes to forms and reports.Prepare and maintain manuals for assigned areas, and provide training as needed to new system users and portfolio department administrators.Partner with client facing departments to provide approved language for response to client requests for assigned area compliance and process information.Maintain departmental records in compliance with filing, protection, and retrieval standards, including maintenance and creation of folder hierarchy and access management for SharePoint and shared drives, as well as locally stored documents.Periodic Responsibilities:Provide back-up support for various other departmental processes.Provide administrative support for various business unit and related committee initiatives, including testing, reporting, gathering documentation, and coordinating meetings.Perform other duties as requested by management.Tracking for own performance through Online IPP processWork with Sequel (SQL) to help support the team’s automation initiatives.What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?A college degree in accounting/business or equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience with some exposure to financial markets5-6 years of relevant experience.Finance Services / Financial Industry experience.Experience in Reporting, MS SQL Server, MS Excel Macros is preferred.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience (Prefer Computer Science background)5+ years’ experience in the investment industry and other supporting areas2+ years’ experience in reconciliation (Cash, Asset etc)Solid knowledge in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)Additional Desirable Qualifications:Financial AnalysisExperience coordinating or leading projectsWorking knowledge of mutual fund industry regulationsGlobal awareness of different cultures and languagesExperience and comfort working across multiple time zonesKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detailSolid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)Solid analytical skillsService orientedAbility to take initiativeAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to shift priorities and meet deadlinesAbility to interact with other departments on a regular basisAbility to work independentlyAbility to multi-task maintaining several events at a timeAbility to exercise independent judgment consistent with departmental guidelinesProblem Solving and Decision Making:Ability to develop solutions to a variety of problems and ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives.Job Level - Individual ContributorWork Shift Timings - 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM ISTExperience our welcoming culture and reach your professional and personal potential!Our culture is shaped by our diverse global workforce and strongly held core values.
