Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager/Manager - Category Sourcing at Brand Concepts Ltd in Indore. The role entails day-to-day tasks related to category management, analytical skills, contract negotiation, procurement, and sales. Position Summary To be responsible for Category sourcing, market research, trend analysis and Vendor & Supplier Management. Product forecasting and analyzing consumer behavior to prepare Buying plans. Source new factories and new categories and handle vendor selection, development and management. Analyze and handle Costing/Price Negotiation with factories. Study on Brands as per Sales/Product Segmentation / Categories etc. Handle technical manufacturing issue and discuss with factories. Preferred Candidate Must have 8 to 9 years of experience in category sourcing such as luggage (trolley / non trolley), Handbags/Accessories. Should have Good understanding of product design along with tech-pack and conversion. Must have good network with different sourcing hubs. Must be Graduate / Post-graduate in lifestyle accessories design or Merchandising. Must be comfortable with extensive travelling Qualitative An Effective Communicator With Strong Analytical, Problem Solving And Organisational Abilities. Must Be Detail Oriented And Organized. Must Have Excellent Presentation Skills.
