- Lead and manage end-to-end production operations in a chemical manufacturing plant.
- Plan and execute production schedules to meet quality, quantity, and delivery timelines.
- Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting support for Chlorination, Nitration, and Hydrogenation
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, SOPs, GMP, and statutory regulations.
- Monitor process parameters and ensure safe operation of hazardous and exothermic reactions.
- Coordinate with R&D and Process Engineering for scale-up, technology transfer, and new product implementation.
- Oversee production planning, raw material consumption, yield improvement, and cost optimization.
- Lead cross-functional coordination with QA/QC, Maintenance, EHS, and SCM departments.
- Implement and promote process improvements and operational excellence initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
- Maintain documentation and compliance for audits – internal, external, and regulatory (e.g., ISO, EHS, GPCB).
- Manage and mentor production teams, ensuring continuous skill development and performance enhancement.
- Ensure optimal utilization of equipment such as reactors, scrubbers, distillation units, and hydrogenation vessels.
- Strong expertise in Chlorination, Nitration & Hydrogenation
- Sound knowledge of process safety, HAZOP, and risk management.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Analytical thinking and decision-making under pressure.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production tracking tools.
