As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes building and testing these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer deploys infrastructure and platform environments and creates proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of the proposed designs. Collaboration with various teams to align architecture with business needs and continuous improvement of cloud solutions are also key aspects of the daily routine.Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud solutions meet organizational requirements and standards.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and security.
- Document architecture designs and deployment processes to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Assist junior team members in understanding cloud platform concepts and best practices.Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Operations Management.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Ability to design and implement scalable and reliable cloud architectures.
- Familiarity with automation and orchestration tools related to cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of performance testing and validation techniques for cloud environments.Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Operations Management.
