Job Description:This role is for one of the Weekday's clientsSalary range: Rs 500000 - Rs 1500000 (ie INR 5 - 15 LPA)Min Experience: 5 yearsLocation: HyderabadJobType: full-timeWe are hiring a Product Manager - Personal Loans to join a fast-growing fintech that has successfully raised over $10M in its pre-series funding round. With a strong product suite spanning B2B Payments, Business Loans, and Personal Loans, we are now looking for a driven product leader to build and scale our Personal Loans vertical from the ground up.This is a unique opportunity to be the first product hire dedicated to Personal Loans, owning the complete lifecycle-from 0 to 1 product build to scaling the business to ₹10 Cr+ monthly disbursements. You will work at the intersection of business, technology, credit, and customer experience to create a high-impact lending product.Requirements:Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end product charter for the Personal Loans business, from ideation to execution and scaling
Define product vision, roadmap, and strategy aligned with business goals and growth targets
Build the Personal Loans product from scratch (0-1), including onboarding journeys, credit flows, disbursal, and repayment experiences
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, credit, risk, operations, compliance, and marketing
Drive customer acquisition, activation, and retention strategies through data-driven decision-making
Optimize funnel conversion across application, underwriting, approval, and disbursement stages
Leverage analytics, experimentation (A/B testing), and user insights to continuously improve product performance
Work on partnerships with NBFCs, banks, and third-party vendors for lending infrastructure
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and build scalable, secure product systems
Own key metrics such as loan disbursal volumes, approval rates, CAC, NPA ratios, and customer lifetime value

Skills & Requirements

3-6 years of experience in Product Management, preferably in fintech or lending
Strong understanding of lending products, especially Personal Loans, including underwriting, risk assessment, and collections
Proven experience in building and scaling products, ideally in a 0-1 or early-stage startup environment
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Hands-on experience with product tools, user journeys, and experimentation frameworks
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with high ownership
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Understanding of digital lending ecosystems, APIs, credit bureaus, and KYC processes is a plus
