- Designing and implementing DC electrical systems that include designing power system layouts, selecting appropriate components and developing system design.
- System Architecture knowledge as the ESS/BESS application involves integrating various sources of energy viz. Generators, Wind, Solar, etc.
- Understanding of Power Conversion system in ESS/BESS applications.
- Designing system layout drawings as well as schematic drawings and SLD’s
- Understanding of Power Distribution, Energy Management and Microgrid/Smart Grid solutions.
- Understanding control logic of PLC automation systems and devices like SCADA, HMI & PLCs used in Microgrid/Smart Grid management.
- Know-how of Diesel Generator controls system architecture, Control panel logic & Engine controls as Diesel Generator system is one of the important part of Smart Grid management.
- Experience in integration of Power components viz. Inverters, transformers, BMS in Battery Energy Storage Systems
- Know-how of GLOBAL standards (e.g., IEC, ANSI, NFPA, IEEE and UL).
- Required Eplan P8 tool experience of minimum 3 Yrs. including Eplan database management, macros creation, assemblies, place holder objects & layouts 2D and 3D creation.
- Knowledge of selection and coordination of relays, contactors, fuses, transformers, and cable sizes of the electrical system with calculations.
- Experience in earthing & lightning calculations will be an added advantage.
- Collaborate closely with the Technical Architect to support the transition of functional design into technical design.
- Analyze, document, and communicate end-to-end process documentation to stake holders.
