Job descriptionPosition - Sales Manager.Salary offered- 5 to 10 LPARole-The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the sales target of defined region in agri inputs. They will be responsible for ensuring that the area under reporting meets sales targets and provides excellent customer service. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for managing inventory levels and ensuring that the partners are well-stocked with high-quality products.Key Responsibilities:Manage the day-to-day operations of the area growth and profitability including sales, inventory management, and customer serviceBuild Channel network of non-competing, trustworthy partners.Implement and execute direct / reseller driven strategy to drive growth.Meet sales targets and achieve partner/channel revenue goalsDevelop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfactionManage inventory levels and ensure that the partners/area is well-stocked with high-quality productsWork with warehouse management to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues related to product quality or availabilityTrain and manage team, including setting work schedules and providing ongoing training and supportMonitor and analyze sales data and adjust area operations as needed to maximize sales and profitabilityDevelop and maintain relationships with local farmers and agricultural channel partners to promote the brand and increase customer loyaltyEnsure that the partners and channel created is well organised.Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, sales, and expensesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in agriculture and MBA preffered.Minimum of 3 to 15 years of experience with ground team and retail management preferably in an agri input company / agri input e-commerce.Strong knowledge of agri input products and the agriculture industryDemonstrated ability to manage sales targets and achieve revenue goalsExcellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers.Strong leadership and team management skillsAbility to analyze sales data and adjust store operations to maximize profitabilityStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.Job requirements
