JR ACCOUNTANT FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

• Daily Accounting Operations: Record daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses) in accounting software such as Tally ERP9 or SAP.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR): Manage vendor payments, reconcile supplier accounts, raise customer invoices, and follow up on payments.
• Bank & Account Reconciliation: Perform daily or weekly bank reconciliations and reconcile ledger accounts.
• Inventory & Costing Support: Assist with raw material inventory records, verify GRN (Goods Received Notes) with purchase bills, and support cost accounting efforts.
• Statutory Compliance: Assist in preparing data for GST filing, TDS, and other tax requirements.
• Month-End/Year-End Closing: Support the senior accounting team with journal entries, trial balances, and closing activities.
• Documentation & Filing: Maintain organized records of vouchers, invoices, and bank documents.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-4 years of experience in accounting, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally ERP9, SAP, or QuickBooks and strong MS Excel skills.
• Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing tax compliance.
• Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong numerical accuracy, ability to meet strict deadlines, and good communication skills.

• Setting: Corporate office located at or near the manufacturing unit.
• Pace: Fast-paced environment with significant focus on accuracy to ensure seamless production supply.
• Supervision: Reports to a senior accountant or finance manager.
