We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Associate_Operations in ISG Equity Operation. ISG Product Operations is a world-class global team of dedicated professionals, performing a myriad of functions, all with a common purpose: to manage Morgan Stanley's Clearing and Trading & Client operational processes and deliver value to our clients in a controlled and efficient way. The broad organization partners closely with Sales and Trading to develop and implement new products and services as well as drive efficiency and reduce risk in our processes.In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is a Director level position level position within the Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.Since 1935, Morgan Stanley is known as a global leader in financial services, always evolving and innovating to better serve our clients and our communities in more than 40 countries around the world.What you'll do in the role:
  • Own the assigned projects or streams, initiate and coordinate the necessary changes until timely resolution
  • Create project plan, record delivery milestones in agreement with the IT partners, establish project governance and structure for larger scale change initiatives
  • Prepare user acceptance test cases, coordinates user testing with all the impacted stakeholders.
  • Communicate project updates to stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Develop strong relationships with IT colleagues to design, develop and implement technology platforms to deliver solutions to these business requirements.
  • Hold demo sessions and train the users on the newly developed systems and tools before handing it over to the Run-The-Bank Operations team.
  • Coordinate sign off on requirements
  • Understand a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the AGILE approach and how it is applied in the daily change management - Experience of derivatives and trade lifecycles.

  • Deal with ambiguity and decipher business unit lingo
  • Analyse requirements and determine testing mechanisms
  • Experiencing of testing in ALM and the AGILE approach and how it is applied in the daily change management.
  • Prior product knowledge of Listed Derivatives or a similar asset class is preferred but not essential
