Job RequirementsAbout the RoleThe Manager - Business Planning will be responsible for overseeing financial planning and analysis of activities within the Retail Assets division of Retail Banking. Based in Mumbai, the role involves budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions. The role requires strong collaboration with partners and stakeholders, and a focus on cost reduction and revenue enhancement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities
  • Financial planning and analysis.
  • Budgeting, modeling, forecasting, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Preparation of monthly financial metrics and key business drivers.
  • Initiating and managing cost reduction and revenue enhancement initiatives.
  • Partner and stakeholder management.
  • Management reporting and P&L analysis.
  • Supporting financial and business audits.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Analyzing, investigating, and explaining key movements and trends in P&L lines.
  • Providing financial support to business/functions and assisting in decision-making.
  • Preparing various reports to support management needs.
  • Providing commentaries and business insights on variances under different scenarios and time periods.
  • Overseeing financial planning activities.
What We Are Looking ForEducation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (MBA) is preferred.
Experience
  • Proven 6 years of track record of managing all financial aspects and reporting of Credit Card Business.
  • Demonstrated ability in financial planning and expenditure management.
  • Experience in effectively communicating financial recommendations to executive management.
Skills and Attributes

  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
