Material Manager (Injection Molding)

• Ensuring adherence to company standard practices and procedures across all materials department functions.
• Supervising vendor releases and forecasts in alignment with production schedules and existing inventory levels.
• Collaborating with suppliers to address any delays in delivery and resolve related issues.
• Monitoring and optimizing raw material inventory levels.
• Ensuring accuracy of Bills of Materials (BOM) and facilitating proper setup for precise consumption tracking.
• Collaborating with management to identify supply requirements.
• Cultivating and managing relationships with suppliers, including negotiation.
• Participating in program launches to grasp supplier plans.
• Accountable for reporting and achieving metrics.
• Overseeing write-offs for damaged or obsolete inventory to maintain accurate inventory valuation.
• Maintaining and validating accuracy of the perpetual inventory system.
• Monitoring MRP versus Purchase Order reports to prevent over/under procurement issues.

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, operations, engineering, or related fields.

• Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Organizational and record-keeping proficiency.
• Familiarity with inventory reporting systems, logistics, and ERP systems.
