- Set up global coordinator framework and network of people for the monitoring of global regulatory interactions within Allianz Partners.
- The Regulatory interactions to be monitored focus on the non-business as usual interactions with local regulators throughout the Globe, which includes all forms of insurance regulations e.g., Solvency II, AML, Data Protection etc. The role however does not require in depth knowledge of such regulations as the local subject matter experts are responsible.
- Maintain relationship with local coordinators to monitor and report on regulatory interactions globally.
- Provide summary reports on a monthly/quarterly basis on the status of regulator interactions.
- Set up and manage monthly calls/meetings with local regulatory coordinators.
- Support on ad-hoc regulatory requests/ inspections/ surveys / questionnaires etc.
- Manage/ co-ordinate/ act as touchpoint various regulatory projects.
- Stakeholder Management - Keep management (CRO, Head of Legal, various committees) informed on relevant regulatory developments.
- Maintain central mailbox for repository of information.
- Monitor new regulations and establish procedures for Risk function related regulations.
- Support relationship management with lead home state regulator, other ad-hoc tasks/projects within the Risk functions as apocopate e.g., organizing the rating review.
- B.Com/ M.Com/ MBA/ CA or CS (Qualified/Inter)/ LLB (company law matters).
- At least 4 years of experience, preferably in Risk & Compliance, Project Management & Organizational Management.
- Experience in 2nd & 3rd Lines of Defence (Risk, Compliance, Legal, Internal Controls, Audit) or professional services preferable.
- Ability to undertake initiative and deliver quality results often with competing deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously yet still displaying strong team work ethics and attributes.
- Strong analytical, process management, structural thinking and implementation skills.
- Thorough understanding of business and financial implications of technical analysis.
- Strategic thinking and tactical problem solving; frame issues and create effective plans for execution.
- Strong professional presence, excellent interpersonal skills with ability to manage relationships both internal and external.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills, high attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet set deadlines.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge on MO365, SharePoint.
- Report writing skills (formal documents/papers for committees).
- Experience in organizing meetings/networking with people.
- Understanding of Corporate Governance.
- This is a global role so the candidate would be supporting the AzP regions (Americas, APAC and Europe), so dealing with time zones will need to be managed.
- Everything will be done in English so a high level of verbal and written communication in English is mandatory.
- Additional Language (Not Mandatory): French, German or any other foreign language
