· Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics/ Mechanical/Automation EngineeringExperience and required competencies:· 18+ Years of experience· Automotive Experience is preferred· Lean Six Sigma Green/Blackbelt· Automation/ Lean methodology· Fluency in EnglishMain Responsibilities:· Manage and coordinate process engineering in order to ensure the effectiveness of the tool production processes and monitoring the implementation of studies carried out by the team· Drive the team to work on continuous improvements in production processes in order to reduce time and cost of processes and carrying out analysis of “time and motion studies” to establish the “cycle timings”· Carry out feasibility analysis for the manufacture of new tools in conjunction with planning to ensure the ability to meet the requested demand· To co-ordinate with Product management team and business controller regarding development of new tools and deciding routings/LHR/MHR to establish the “Production Costs”· Carry out analysis and change the factory layout for a lean flow to receive, transfer and/or implement new products to adapt the plant as needed using VSM· Manage machine/process capability studies and making action plans in coordination with maintenance /production/purchase· Manage and control the investment plan to acquire new equipment according to the needs of the company· Comply with Occupational Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental Protection (EHS) standards and procedures defined by law and formalized by Sandvik locally and globally, seeking to mitigate the risks of accidents and incidents as well as ensuring the integrity of the material, human and environmental assets under responsibility of the organization.· Identify and drive productivity through automations/ MUDA workshops
