Senior SAP S/4HANA IS-U Functional Consultant

• 14+ years of experience in SAP IS-U

• 5+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA IS-U

• Industry focus: Utilities (Electricity, Smart Metering, Billing & Invoicing)

• Experienced SAP S/4HANA IS-U Functional Consultant with deep expertise in utility industry processes.

• Support and lead RFP responses by developing solution proposals, preparing effort estimates, and mapping industry-specific processes.

• The consultant will also drive the functional design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA IS-U solutions.

• Utility Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of end-to-end meter-to-cash processes, including tariff design, customer service, billing, collections, and regulatory compliance.

• SAP S/4HANA IS-U Modules: Hands-on experience with Billing & Invoicing (BI), Device Management (DM), Customer Service (CS), Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FICA), Meter Reading (MR), and Energy Data Management (EDM)

• S/4HANA Capabilities: Knowledge of Universal Journal, Fiori applications, embedded analytics, new asset accounting, and integration with Central Finance

• Integration Expertise: Experience integrating IS-U with FI/CO, MM, SD, CRM, and external systems such as smart meters, AMI, and smart grids

• RFP & Pre-Sales Support: Proven ability to contribute to RFPs through solution design, process mapping, effort estimation, response documentation, and client presentations

• Lead and deliver SAP IS-U and S/4HANA IS-U implementations for utility clients, particularly in the electricity sector

• Design and implement complex tariff structures and billing scenarios

• Support RFP responses by preparing functional scope documents, solution blueprints, and effort estimates

• Conduct workshops, demos, and client presentations to showcase SAP IS-U capabilities

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards such as IFRS, GAAP, GDPR, and local energy regulations

• Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills

• Ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP IS-U solutions

• Demonstrated experience in pre-sales, solutioning, and proposal support within the utilities domain
