Responsibilities:
Provide first and second level IT support to our users, including
o Set up accounts and workstations
o Troubleshoot issues and outages with hardware and software or network connectivity issues,
o Manage user accounts and access permissions, ensuring compliance with company policies and security standards Provide monitoring, system administration and operation tasks
o Monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure availability, performance, and securityaccording to requirements
o Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software systems, including servers, desktops, laptops, and peripherals
o Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
o Upgrade systems with new releases and models
Respond to IT incidents and service requests in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues as needed
Contribute to the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and best practices
Contribute to an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
Assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed
Develop expertise to train staff on new technologiesRequirements and skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or similar skillset
Proven experience of at least 3 years in IT support and administration, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of various current operating systems, platforms and network connectivity protocols
Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
Proven Expertise in three of the following topics
o Citrix
o Jira Service Managment
o CheckMKo Fortinet Fortigate
o MS (A)AD
o MS Azure
Ability to create scripts in PowerShell, Python or Perl
Familiarity with IT security best practices, including firewalls, antivirus software, and useraccess controls
Resourcefulness and excellent problem-solving and analytical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues
Excellent communication skills to collaborate in a multinational and intercultural team
Excellent English language skills (German language skills beneficial)
Able and willing to participate in an onboarding process of 6 Weeks
