JD- Marketing Manager
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Marketing Manager to lead and implement brand-building and promotional activities across multiple locations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of both traditional and on-ground marketing methods, experience in managing vendors, and the ability to handle and grow a team. A willingness to travel and build strong relationships with dealers is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Marketing & Brand Awareness
Create and execute marketing strategies to build brand awareness through multiple channels – on-ground activations, events, dealer engagement, print, and digital.Plan and implement location-wise marketing activities aligned with the overall business goals.
2. Vendor Development & Execution
Identify, develop, and manage appropriate vendors (event management, printing, promotional material, etc.) to support timely and cost-effective execution of marketing activities. Ensure quality, compliance, and timeliness of vendor deliverables.
3. Dealer-Centric Marketing
Travel extensively to meet and understand dealer requirements, and customize marketing activities accordingly to promote the product. Organize on-site demonstrations, local events, and activations to support sales at the dealer level.
4. Team Management
Build, lead, and manage a team of Marketing Officers and the demo team. Provide guidance, training, and daily support to ensure effective implementation of marketing plans across regions.5. Event Planning & Execution
Organize and manage product demos, roadshows, customer meets, and other events based on business needs. Ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and sales goals.
6. Budget & Reporting
Prepare and manage marketing budgets and ensure effective budgetary control for all campaigns. Maintain detailed MIS reports, analyze campaign effectiveness, and present marketing performance to senior management.
7. Benchmarking & Best Practices
Continuously research industry trends and competitor activities. Apply benchmarking techniques to assess the effectiveness of ongoing marketing efforts and identify areas of improvement
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred). 12+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in construction materials, building products, or FMCG industries. Strong understanding of dealer-based marketing and BTL (Below The Line) activities. Proficiency in MS Office, budgeting tools, and reporting software. Willingness to travel regularly across assigned regions. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in vendor management and negotiation. Familiarity with both urban and rural marketing techniques. Data-driven mindset with good analytical and benchmarking skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
