Their primary objectives include collecting accurate spatial data, conducting detailed topographic and aerial surveys, and assisting in the analysis of geological features within the coal mine. By employing advanced surveying techniques, the Survey Executive contributes to the generation of comprehensive data sets essential for mine planning, infrastructure design, and environmental monitoring, ensuring all activities comply with safety and regulatory standards.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESSurvey Executive - MiningSurvey Execution:Operate and maintain latest technology to capture high-resolution point cloud data of mining sites, infrastructure, and geological formations.Conduct systematic surveys following predefined scanning protocols, ensuring comprehensive coverage and data integrity across the survey area.Perform calibration checks and quality control procedures on equipment to ensure accurate and reliable data acquisition in various environmental conditions.Survey Support and Coordination:Work closely with the Survey Lead and other surveying personnel to coordinate field survey activities, prioritize scanning locations, and optimize survey workflows for efficiency.Provide technical support and guidance to survey assistants and field crews during data acquisition, ensuring adherence to surveying standards and safety protocols.Collaborate with engineering and geological teams to integrate survey data into CAD/BIM software platforms for the development of accurate mine designs and construction plans.Quality Assurance and Documentation:Conduct quality assurance checks on survey data to verify data accuracy, completeness, and consistency, identifying and rectifying any data anomalies or artifacts.Document survey procedures, equipment settings, and data processing methodologies in accordance with established protocols and industry best practices.Prepare comprehensive survey reports, including detailed descriptions of survey methodologies, data analysis results, and recommendations for further action or investigation.Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:Adhere to safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs) while performing surveys, ensuring the safe operation of equipment and the mitigation of potential hazards.Participate in safety training programs and toolbox talks to enhance awareness of occupational hazards and emergency response procedures in mining environments.Collaborate with the Survey Lead and safety officers to assess site-specific risks, implement control measures, and promote a culture of safety among surveying personnel.Key Stakeholders - InternalERCBDPRMFinanceTCDCACluster HeadsSite TeamsKey Stakeholders - ExternalSatutory BodiesDGMSTechnical ConsultantsExternal AuditorsResponsibilities:

Monitoring of quarterly surveys for various sites and coordination with site teams and 3rd Party Vendor for the same.
Short Term Planning for Lead and SR calculations on monthly basis for various sites.
Operational Planning and site visits for monitoring of SOP compliance by survey and mine planning teams at various sites.
Planning, monitoring and execution of modern survey systems in coal mines.
supporting Planning team in preparation of Mining Plans of various coal mines
Supporting Mine Planning Team in Preparation of drawing of DPR for a few coal mines.
Topographic & Volumetric surveys including calculation of Volume of OB & Coal in Mines
Experience of DGMS compliance for preparation of various statutory plans as per CMR.
Controlling and Supervision of survey teams in surveying with modern survey instruments in large opencast mines.
Operational Planning and site visits for monitoring of SOP compliance by survey and mine planning teams at various sites
handling modern survey instruments like DGPS,3D Laser Scanner , Drone etc.

Qualifications:Education Qualification
Diploma in Engineering with Mine Surveyor CertificateExperience
8 to 12 Years
