- Assist team in drafting checklists, process documents and generic tracking reports
- Directly liaison with internal stakeholders on various issues
- Recognize issues and provide timely escalation to Team Lead or appropriate stakeholders
- Understand and suggest process improvements in the support area
- Provide on the job training and support to the new joiners of the team
- Supervise resources, as required
- Support implementation of new initiatives in the support area or within Legal/GLN
- Build credible and effective relationships with onshore counsels and within GLN team
- Support tech team in development of new tech tool or enhancement of existing ones
- Manage SharePoint and communication records
- Reviewing of contracts/sub - contracts, proposals, agreements and other documents relevant to CGS functional area strictly on need basis for process compliance.
- Provide assistance in negotiating the access related documentation and other contracts in collaboration with the account CM or legal counsel, ensuring proper risk mitigation before permitting colocation arrangement for Accenture client and client’s third party;
- Independently conduct Compliance and risk analysis for commercial software used in project solutions.
- Compliance and risk analysis for usage of software, tools, applications -developed by Accenture; reusable technical assets (applications) for global licensing.
- Independently Review, evaluate and recommend whether Accenture has right to reuse/redistribute software, tools, applications developed by Accenture, based on related third-party licenses and associated IP rights, and to define the scope and limits of Accenture's use and reuse of such assets.
- Review, evaluate and recommend, the rights and restrictions involved in a software license agreement, end user license agreement for both commercial and non-commercial software and analyze the associated risks in using the software on Accenture owned devices in accordance with the users intended scope of usage.
- Independent handling of the requestors, understanding the business requirements and advising on the process compliance.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders regularly for process improvement and tracking the requests and generating reports quarterly and annually for the leadership.
- Maintain process compliance in line with company policies and procedures and ensure issues are resolved and escalate to line manager with issues;
- Directly liaising with internal stakeholders and deal teams on various legal and commercial issues
- Sound research skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- Compliance related global professional certification considered a plus.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience at law firm or as in-house counsel and/or in legal outsourcing
- Travel may be required
- Fluency in English (and other language, depending on geography supported) with strong oral and written communication skills
- Basic awareness of Accenture offerings and function specific services performed
- Understands commercial agreements, legal and compliance principles
- Understands general corporate business practices and contracting regulations
- Demonstrates promptness, accuracy and consistency with the activities supported
- Demonstrates ability to work under pressure, with exposure to senior management
- Able to assist with day-to-day support and to understand delivery requirements
- Detail-oriented, sound judgement, prioritization, organized, and adaptable
- Good at using Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Comfortable with technology and has experience in the use of tools & databases
